Digital Stained Glass™ is a unique and exciting PixelBlocks feature that lets you turn any photo or artwork into a permanent translucent creation made from PixelBlocks. The finished creation resembles glittering stained glass-- catching sunlight and changing moods throughout the day, and makes a beautiful window display in any room.

The Digital Stained Glass Creator begins on this page, and provides an easy sequence of steps that help you turn your image into a downloadable pattern file you can print out and use to assemble your unique work of art! The pattern file is in Portable Document Format (PDF) and can be viewed and printed on most computers.

What Do I Need?

All you need is a digital image in JPEG, GIF, PNG, or TIFF format, of less than 5 megabytes in size. You do not have to prepare the image in any way as the Digital Stained Glass Creator helps you prepare your image, but if you are already comfortable with photo manipulation software you may want to crop, scale, or enhance your image before uploading it.

The Digital Stained Glass creator will work with most modern web browsers, does not require you to download or install any software, and does not require JavaScript, Java Applets, Flash, or other secondary technology.
